Lauren Zigman Eastman is the Founder and Creative Director of LZ Event Co., a luxury planning and design studio based in St. Louis and serving clients across the United States and abroad. With more than a decade of experience in hospitality, Lauren built her career from the ground up, working in luxury hotels, catering, venue operations, event production, and planning before launching her own company.
As one of the emerging Gen Z voices in the luxury wedding industry, Lauren offers a fresh perspective on what it takes to build a respected brand in today's market while earning the trust of clients, creative partners, and industry veterans alike. Her philosophy, "Planning to Your Personality," guides every celebration, blending intentional design with meticulous logistics to create experiences that feel deeply personal and seamlessly executed.
In just a few years, Lauren has grown LZ Event Co. into a nationally recognized planning firm producing destination weddings, tented celebrations, galas, and multi-day events. She also serves as the Founding President of WIPA St. Louis, where she is passionate about fostering education, mentorship, and meaningful collaboration across generations of event professionals.
Inspired by architecture, fashion, travel, and the art of gathering, Lauren approaches every event with warmth, curiosity, and an unwavering commitment to hospitality. She believes the most memorable celebrations aren't defined by excess, but by intention and care—creating experiences that feel unmistakably personal to her clients and leave a lasting impression on every guest.

Rendi Welker
As Executive Producer, Rendi Welker is the operational backbone of LZ Event Co., bringing exceptional organization, thoughtful leadership, and a calm presence to every celebration. Known as the team's timeline expert and logistics strategist, she ensures every moving piece comes together seamlessly, allowing clients to be fully present while every detail unfolds exactly as planned.
As Team Lead on event days, Rendi works closely with our creative partners to oversee logistics, anticipate challenges before they arise, and execute each celebration with precision and care. She also produces events for Washington University, bringing additional expertise from one of St. Louis's premier institutions and reinforcing her reputation as a trusted leader within the St. Louis events community.
